Pastor Rick was born in the great state of Tennessee (GO BIG ORANGE---the REAL color of orange!) and has been in ministry for 20 years.  Rick is a graduate of University of Tennessee (the REAL UT) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  God's work has led him to serve in his home state of Tennessee, Texas and Alabama, but he is happy to call Texas his home now.  While taking his youth group to camp almost 10 years ago, God blessed him in meeting his wife Michelle who was serving on staff with CENTRIFUGE youth camps.  Together God has blessed them with 3 beautiful adopted children and a congregation that is on fire for the Lord!  Pastor Rick takes the churches mission of "REAL people experiencing REAL grace from a REAL God" to the next level by being transparent and authentic in whatever he does.  Just like GraceMark Church, there is no pretense with this young Pastor striving to make a difference in the Alvarado community and beyond showing EVERYONE the love and unlimited grace of Christ!!

Jason is a native Texan hailing from the small East Texas town of Fruitvale.  While attending Texas A&M he met his wife Cynthia who is also a graduate of A&M and a proud Aggie.  God has blessed them with 3 wonderful children (Noah, Luke and Emily).  Jason leads us to the throne each Sunday with his guitar and our awesome praise band.  Cynthia is a vital part of the Praise team, lending her voice to our worship leadership.  Jason is a Computer Engineer by trade and also handles our projection and sound ministries.  He has a heart for the Lord and loves to see people grow deeper in their relationship with HIM which has brought him to leadership in our Discipleship ministry in addition to his musical responsibilities.

Michelle Gates was born and raised in her favorite place on earth...TEXAS!  For the past 20 years she has ministered to people of all ages in church and camp ministry.  She loves the Lord with all her heart and desires to see other people experience that same love.  Michelle is currently completing her Elementary Education degree through Texas A&M Commerce.  She and her husband Rick have 3 beautiful children  who are 5,7 and 9 years old.  It is Michelle's deep desire  that the children and teenagers of Alvarado  be impacted by the LOVE and ACCEPTANCE of Christ...and that HE will use GraceMark Church to show them that amazing LOVE.
